Consecration and Naming Ceremony Food Purchasers
Consecration and Naming takes place together, during class hours at the Berlin Chapel on the Brandeis campus. A spiritual leader of the community welcomes the students as they begin their formal Jewish education. A Kiddish follows which adheres to the Chapel laws for Kashrut – the Orthodox minyan meet there.
Check with the room parent to determine how many children are in the class. Typically each child brings 2 people so plan accordingly on the amount of food to purchase.
