BJEP offers extended day programs where students can further explore Jewish arts and culture. This upcoming semester, we plan to offer the following:

BJEP Theater Club: Miss Kat and Miss Ellie this second semester for fun theater games and improvisational acting. The activities will range from specific acting exercises to games that get you moving and warm up the dramatic mind. Games will include (but are not limited to): Wax Museum, Eye Contact, Mission Improbable, ABC Scenes, Questions Only, Freeze Dance, Concentration, Molecule Tag, and many more!  Each week will also include a Bibliodrama, where kids act out a biblical story. (Runs from noon to 1:15 p.m.)

  • Chug Ivri – Conversational Hebrew Club: Students who have a passion for Modern Hebrew can join this conversational Hebrew club to develop their Modern Hebrew skills.  More than one class is offered to accommodate children at different levels.  (Runs from noon to 1 p.m.)
  • Chug Rikud – Israeli Dance Club: Students come ready to learn some great Israeli dance moves from hora to hip-hop.  (Runs from noon to 1 p.m.)
